VINCIGUERRA Jean-François
Jean-François Vinciguerra is an artist whose versatility shines through both as a performer and a director. Having trained at the prestigious CNSM in Paris under Michel Roux and the Opéra de Paris’ École d’Art Lyrique with Michel Sénéchal, Vinciguerra's career spans a wide range of artistic pursuits.
His passion for theater and opera is evident not only in his work as a singer but also in his numerous directorial endeavors. From *Les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde* by Hervé at the Opéra de Lausanne, to *Le Petit Faust* at various French venues, Vinciguerra's directorial approach encompasses a vast repertoire of works. His productions also include *Carmen* at the Festival des Voix du Monde in Réunion, *Don Giovanni* at the Théâtre Anthéa, and *La Belle-Hélène* at the Festival d’Art Lyrique de Lacoste. Additionally, he has worked with more experimental shows such as *A Tempo*, a musical and philosophical exploration of time, and *On n’arrête pas la connerie*, a comedic tribute to Jean Yanne's sketches and songs.
Not only does he direct productions across the globe, but he also creates original shows that combine music, humor, and deep intellectual engagement, such as *Cherche Piano Aqueux pour Jouer la Truite de Schubert*, a whimsical recital in homage to Francis Blanche and Pierre Dac, or the educational yet entertaining *Passe ton Bach d’abord !*, a fun and informative journey into opera and classical music.
In addition to his work on land, Vinciguerra has a unique role as a director of musical cruises, creating and managing the *Et Vogue l’Opéra* cruise for over seven years, which showcases his ability to merge travel, music, and culture in an engaging way.
Vinciguerra’s diverse talents and inventive spirit have left an indelible mark in the worlds of opera, theater, and music, making him a distinctive figure in the French arts scene.
