TUKIÇI Genc
Born into a family of musicians, Genc Tukiçi is a Franco-Albanian pianist and composer. He has made numerous recordings and created various works for piano, including several musical paraphrases on themes by composers such as Puccini, Verdi, and Offenbach.
In 2009, he was awarded the prestigious Nino Rota Prize in Italy. In "Sax, mule & Co – Marcel Mule ou l’éloquence du son" (Grands Interprètes collection, H & D, Paris, 2004), Jean-Pierre Thiollet described him as follows: “Genc Tukiçi is an outstanding pianist of international caliber, known for his delicate playing style, his work as an accompanist to great interpreters, and his role as a teacher at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris.”
