SERENI Norma

Norma SERENI is a soprano born in Paris (France) on 1997, to a French mother and an Italian father.
After graduating in Business Management from the University of Warwick in England, she began her vocal studies at the Parma Conservatory with Maestro Lelio Capilupi, completing her training at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.
In 2019, early in her career with M° Capilupi, she performed at the Teatro San Domenico in Foligno in the role of the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart. In the spring of 2023, she was selected to participate in the Puccini Academy in Torre del Lago and the Mascagni Academy in Livorno and performed the role of Suzel from L’amico Fritz.
Selected in the Perugia competition, she performed the role of Micaela in Carmen by G. Bizet at the Casa Barezzi concert in Busseto, alongside soprano Daniela Lojarro, earning personal congratulations from Marco Bergonzi, president of the Accademia Verdiana.
In 2023, she was a finalist in the Magda Olivero competition in Milan for the role of Mimì in Puccini's La Bohème, and in the 100th Callas Prize in Parma.
Furthermore, under the guidance of soprano Inva Mula, she achieved personal success in the role of Mimì in La Bohème in a recital at the Steinway Concert Hall in Dubai. Since November 2023, she has been attending the Raina Kabaivanska Academy in Modena after participating in her masterclass in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In 2024 she has been awarded with the Most Promising Young Singer Award from the Koliqi International Competition in Milan and the 3rd prize of the Milton Marelli Competition in Mirandola (Modena).
Norma has been included in prestigious competitions such as the Portofino International Competition in 2024, and Finalist at the AGORA International Competition in Verona in February 2025.

In September 2024, she has won the 2nd award of the Vienna Beethoven Competition and the Audience’s Prize and Finalist at the ASLICO Competition in Como, for the role of Nannetta (Falstaff).
During summer 2025, she participated at the opera festival MIK Festival in Albania, under the baton of the Austrian conductor Christoph Huber with the role of Adele in Die Fledermaus.
Since September, she started the Young Artists Program of the Teatro Massimo di Palermo.
