Gelena Gaskarova's numerous appearances at the Mariinsky Theatre have led her to perform iconic roles such as Tatiana (*Eugene Onegin*), Micaëla (*Carmen*), and Iolanta (*Iolanta*), all conducted by Valery Gergiev. She reprised the role of Iolanta in 2010 at the Capitole de Toulouse with Tugan Sokhiev, and again in 2013 at Metz and Nancy.
Recently, she made her debut as Rusalka, Antonia (*Les Contes d'Hoffmann*), and in *My Fair Lady* in a production by Robert Carsen, all at the Mariinsky. She also portrayed Maria in *Mazeppa* at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Zemfira (*Aleko*) and Francesca (*Francesca da Rimini*) by Rachmaninov at the Opéra National de Lorraine.
She sang Tatiana (*Onegin*) at the Opéra de Nantes-Angers in May 2015 and reprised the role in Tours in May 2016 under the direction of Jean-Yves Ossonce, in a staging by Alain Garichot.
Over the past two seasons, she has performed as Fiordiligi (*Cosi fan tutte*), Rusalka, and the title role of *Lucrezia Borgia*, in addition to Micaëla and Tatiana.
Most recently, she revisited the role of Tatiana at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in a new production by Stéphane Braunschweig.
